All traffic for the MyBudgetFile sign-in infrastructure and budget planning app is once again being routed through Azure Front Door.

On October 29, 2025, Microsoft experienced worldwide problems with Azure Front Door (AFD), the content delivery network and web application firewall that served requests for the MyBudgetFile sign-in infrastructure and budget planning app. We bypassed AFD and worked on related issues for some users who were still experiencing sign-in issues over the following days.

Microsoft has restored full service and configurability of AFD, and we will make changes to resume routing our traffic back through that system. We anticipate no downtime or loss of functionality during this transition but we are advising of this maintenance out of an abundance of caution.
